Tender Details

Tenders are invited for Provision of Procurement, Construction and Commissioning (PCC) of 7 Schools (Group a & F) at Al-Refai District.
Interested Bidders shall pay the Tender Fee not later than the above Tender Fee Dateline. The Fee for one set of RFQ Documents is United States Dollars One Thousand (USD1000.00). Brief Scope of Works:

The Bidder-s Scope of Work shall include, but not necessarily limited to, the following:

• Demolishment of existing school.

• Architectural and structural works and all other associated scopes to complete the

WORKS which include but not limited to, earthworks, concrete works, metal

works, external and internal wall finishes, floor finishes, stair finishes, roof finishes

as specified in WORK Instruction, Drawings, PCIHBV-s Specifications, Iraqi Codes

and Standards and other CONTRACT DOCUMENTS.

• Sanitary works.

• Electrical works.

• Mechanical works.

• Garden and green area works.

• External fence and main gate works.

• External toilet area works.

• Furniture works.

• Infrastructures i.e road, drainages etc.

• The CONTRACTOR shall provide all the supervision, labour, materials, equipment

(including testing equipment), temporary construction aids, scaffoldings, tools,

consumables, transport, packing, facilities, site verification, services, permits,

license, taxes, insurance, and all other things of the like nature necessary for

performing the WORK.

The construction of 7 seven schools will be in 2 Phases. The construction of the 6 schools

in Phase 1 will start 18 months from contract effective date until Provisional Acceptance

Phase 1.

Remaining 1 school in Phase 2 to be completed within 7 months starts from date of

Provisional Acceptance Phase 1 until Provisional Acceptance (PA) Phase 2 of the contract.
Tender Requirement Mandatory / Minimum Qualifications

• Bidder shall comply with all Scope of Work, Technical Specification and

requirements of PCIHBV.

• Bidder shall not have more than 5 active direct Contracts with PCIHBV awarded

based on competitive bid only) as the main contractor any one time.

• Bidder shall minimum of 3 completed building project with minimum cumulative

total contract value of USD5M within Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region

within the last 10 years.

• Bidder must attend the tender briefing and site visit conducted.

• Bidder to propose Project Execution Plan (PEP) shall be sufficient in detail to

demonstrate Bidder-s understanding and compliance with the Project

Requirements in accordance with ITB.

• Project Manager shall have minimum 10 years working experience in construction

industry and related civil works, 3 years working experience as Project Manager and

have Bachelor Degree in any Engineering course

• Construction Manager shall have minimum 10 years working experience in

construction industry and related civil works, 3 years working experience as

Construction Manager and have Bachelor Degree in any Engineering course

• Bidder shall be registered with Ministry of Trade (MOT
