Inclusion:



PROVISION OF MANPOWER SERVICES. Services shall include but not limited to:



Bureau of Patents

-c Encode full bibliographic data of newly filed applications

-c Retrieval of applications and insertion of communications in the filewrappers

-c Maintenance of database, barcoding and updating of records for offsite

-c Scanning of granted and published patents

-c Process annuity payments and mail reminder letters

-c Mailing of outgoing communications and forwarding of applications for substantive examination

-c Prepare Letters of Patent and Notices of Issuance of Certificate

-c Process extension of terms

-c Retrieve applications for assignment to PCT Officers

-c Encoding of bibliographic data in IPAS



Bureau of Trademarks / IP Satellite Office

-c Acts as Duty Officers (receives applications, DAU, Recordal requests and other TM-related documents

requiring payments. Check minimum formality requirements and issues Statement of Accounts (SoA)

-c Encodes bibliographic data

-c Prepares and distributes filewrappers to Examiners

-c Receives and sorts received TM related communications from scanning unit, tags in IPAS responses to

Office Action, Declaration of Actual Use/Non-use (DAU/DNU), extension to file DAU and recordals

-c Prepares Notice of Abandonment of allowed applications for non-payment of publication fees

-c Publishes applications for Opposition in eGazette (entails counterchecking of payments in IPAS of individual

application vis a vis transmittal list from FMS and preparation of journal)

-c Forwards allowed and fully paid applications to the Office of the Director for approval

-c Prepares for transmittal of office action (Registrability Report, Subsequent Action, Notice of

Allowance/Issuance, DAU and recordal-related documents, Notice of abandonment and Final abandonment)

including stamping date in IPAS and in the docuement, preparation of transmittal list and dropping at the

IPO Box and delivering to the mailing section of GASD

-c Files and sorts filewrappers of allowed national and renewal applications

-c Prints Certificate of Renewal of Registration

-c Regularly updates and prepares reports relating to IPSO

-c Prepares travel documents of IPSO personnel





Documentation, Information and Technology Transfer Bureau

-c Assist in organizing and managing training activities and special events

-c Assist in the conceptualization and development of promotional materials and other publications in

electronic and print formats

-c Drafting messages, press releases, and media advisories

-c Coordination of external communications

-c Preparation and submission of evaluation reports regarding training and events conducted

-c Maintenance and safekeeping of records and statistics related to IP trainings



Bureau of Legal Affairs

-c Provide technical support to the Planning Unit and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Services

-c Documentation/records keeping management

-c Assist in capacity and capability building activities



Bureau of Copyright and Related Rights



-c Assist in the formulation of various programs and projects

-c Coordination and networking with the different copyright sectors and stakeholders

-c Provide logistical and clerical services

-c Provide assistance to local and foreign resource persons

-c Answer simple queries on copyright

-c Receive and process applications for CMO accreditation and for copyright deposit



Management Information Service

-c Provide on-site technical support on hardware, network and software.

-c Installing hardware and software

-c Troubleshooting and repair on computer and network issues

-c Maintenance of structured cabling system

-c Perform end-user computing preventive maintenance such as cleaning, checking of hardware and software.



Financial, Management and Administrative Service / COA



-c Updating of records databases

-c Assist in the preparation of administrative reports and maintenance of documents

-c Assist in the management of mails, parcels and other documents

-c Assist in the preparation and releasing of checks

-c Assist in gathering of data for research works

-c Preparation of withholding tax certificates including computation

-c Scanning/ inventory of HR records and assist in the recruitment, signing of contracts, attendance and

performance monitoring, payroll preparation, SSS Remittance and other related concerns for Contract of

Service

-c Assist in the creation of Purchase Requests and Agency Procurement Request for supplies and equipment

-c Assist in the preparation of Abstract of Canvass for the procurement of goods and services

-c Provide chauffeuring services to IPOPHL officials and employees

-c Type, encode and proofread reports, correspondences, forms, and the like
