The Malta Information Technology Agency (MITA) will be publishing a Call for Tenders (CfT) to procure malware scanning kiosks together with maintenance and support services. Such kiosks will reduce the risk of malware infection originating from removeable media by scanning removeable media such as USB storage devices, external drives, and SD cards in real-time, prior to being connected to any government devices. Through this tool, MITA will be more pro-active in detecting malicious intents.
