Description : 1. Reference to the RFI YK397 published on 2 May 2017 with closing date 31 May 2017, the scope of work has changed since then and thus this EOI is published to provide updated information on the requirement and seeking your interest to participate in the upcoming RFP. 2. The United Nations is seeking offers for air transportation services to undertake strategic movement of all its Military/Police and civilian personnel, around 150, 000 Peacekeepers per year with their baggage entitlement, between Troop/Police Contributing Countries and United Nations Peacekeeping Missions expected to replace the current contract during the fourth quarter of 2018. 3. The United Nations is seeking several Aircraft types that may operate in three main regions: East Asia, Africa and Middle East. It is expected that the UN will utilize at least one dedicated Aircraft with a backup Aircraft that when needed will be flown simultaneously. The UN is also seeking multiple Aircraft types that will not be dedicated to the UN to conduct troop rotations in specific routes where the dedicated Aircraft cannot operate. Sufficient lead notice shall be provided to the operator to ensure timely provision of the non-dedicated aircraft. 4. Vendors will be able to propose multiple Aircraft types for the complete solution satisfying all required troop rotations in all regions or vendors may choose to provide partial solutions which will allow for split awards.
