The NTA aims to secure a supplier who shall supply, configure, print and issue initially four different types of personalised Leap Cards for the purposes of offering discounted or free travel fares to verified eligible cardholders. Note that each of these Cards shall require different customisations including separate branding and personalisation requirements: 1. Student Leap Card; 2. Child 16-18 Leap Card; 3. Young Adult Leap Card; and 4. Child 5-8 Leap Card. The Services include the following major elements: i. the Successful Tenderer will be responsible for the sourcing, maintenance and management of the smart card stock (MIFARE DESFire). The NTA reserves the right to independently source cards for production; ii. the Successful Tenderer will be responsible for the establishment and operation of a centralised online verification system for all applicants; iii. the Successful Tenderer will be responsible for the sale, printing, personalisation (where applicable) configuration and distribution of Leap Cards in the format prescribed by the NTA to verified eligible individuals; iv. the Successful Tenderer shall be responsible for all other activities associated with the sale and distribution of the Cards, including financial reconciliations and reporting, day-to-day operations and support, as well as ongoing maintenance and updating/upgrading of the solution; v.
