Provision of an IT system to support the dispensing of free medicine (VFM) The regions want to carry out a market dialogue around the acquisition of a new system that will ensure improved IT support for the processes for handling and handing out free medicine (VFM). The lack of IT support complicates the dispensing of free medicine in general and particularly in relation to the transparency that clinicians, patients and other health actors are used to from pharmacies in the primary sector. At the same time, the risk of errors increases, i.a. because data is transferred manually between several systems. Effective IT support will facilitate the procedure and ensure an automated and patient-safe solution that enables uniform data collection and settlement between regions as well as close management and monitoring of medication consumption. In addition, there is a desire to support delivery in the patient's region of residence, regardless of treatment location/treatment region. The core functionality is based on existing, new and adapted functionality in FMK as well as the acquisition of a new VFM Client, whose main purpose is to be the hospital pharmacy staff's entry point for order reception, processing, bookkeeping and documentation for the dispensing of free medicine. This VFM client is the subject of a potential upcoming tender, which this market dialogue deals with.
