Description:

1. The United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) intends to establish a long term contract for the provision of an in-house Inter-Communal Conflict Management: Analysis and Resolution Trainingto its staff in Juba, Rumbek and Wau, South Sudan as stated herein. Introduction: The objective of the Inter-Communal Conflict Management: Analysis and Resolution Training is to equip UNMISS personnel who have substantive functions with necessary skills and knowledge for confidence building, exercising good judgment and develop the capabilities to anticipate, prevent, mitigate and resolve conflict. Description of General requirements: 1. The institution that will be contracted to deliver the training in Inter-Communal Conflict Management: Analysis and Resolution shall be an accredited and recognized training institution approved by the relevant standards agency authorizing the conduct of the training and award certificates. 2. The training will be conducted in four (4) sessions:two(2) batches at basic level and two (2) batches at an advanced level for five (5) working days each. The training sessions will be conducted at the UNMISS Base/Camp in Juba, Rumbek and Wau, South Sudan. The actual training dates will be disclosed at the time of solicitation. 3. The Service Provider must use participatory training methodologies and Adult Learning concepts in the delivery of the programme to adequately benefit the trainees. 4. The Service Provider shall be responsible for all travel, accommodation and subsistence allowance arrangements for its training consultants. 5. The Service Provider shall be responsible for providing all training materials required in the training including but not limited to manuals and hand-outs to participants as hard copies. Conditions 1. As a mandatory requirement for UNMISS, before submitting their EOI response, interested service providers are required to be fully registered as a supplier in the UN Global Marketplace (UNGM) using the link below: https://www.ungm.org/Public/Pages/RegistrationProcess a) Interested service providers are strongly encouraged to upgrade their registration at level 1 or above in UNGM by the time of submitting EOI to UNMISS. b) The Institution must be registered for this particular service in UNGM (UNSPSC Code: 86111600; 86101800 and/or 86132100). c) UNMISS Procurement Section shall reject any EOI that does not contain the final UNGM registration number as it will be considered as non-responsive.
