Description:

The Research and Impact Assessment Division (RIA) within the Strategy and Knowledge Department (SKD) at IFAD, provides technical support to the Programming and Management Department (PMD) to mainstream impact assessments into IFAD-supported projects, and build government capacity for impact assessments and evidence-based policy making.

As part of the Tenth Replenishment of IFAD resources, IFAD will continue to be committed to conduct rigorous impact assessments with ex-ante and ex-post evaluation designs. Therefore, 15-20% of projects within the portfolio are being selected for impact assessments using quasi-experimental or experimental designs.
Objectives of the RFP

IFAD is seeking to identify a number of competent contractors with experience in the development and administration of surveys to collect data needed for impact assessments in Mexico, Tajikistan, Egypt and Jordan. The contractors will be selected on the basis of this tender and awarded a Long Term Agreement (LTA) on the basis of “if and when required”.
