Description : 1. The United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) invites companies to express their interest and provide requested supporting documents to demonstrate their eligibility to participate in upcoming bidding exercise for the Provision of Generator Operation and Maintenance Services of its 74 Generators in use and 40 Standby generators. 2. UNAMA require the services of specialized companies to provide Generator Operation and Maintenance Services at its compounds on 24 / 7 basis. All the spare parts including Filters, Fuel and Lubricants used in this service will be provided by UNAMA. The services will be required at following locations. • Kabul • Jalalabad • Kandahar • Mazar • Gardez • Kunduz • Bamyan • Puli Khumari • Maimana The Operation & Maintenance Services includes but not limited to: • Daily Generator Operation and Maintenance Services. • Emergency breakdown maintenance services. • Generator Top & Major Overhaul services. • Refueling of Generator Fuel tanks. • Maintain Generator Log Book. • Housekeeping of Generator & Generator Power House. The Generator Operation & Maintenance service will be required for an initial period of two (2) years with an option for extension for a further two (2) years upon successful and satisfactory completion of services. 3.
