Tender Details

Tenders are invited for Provision of Ferry to Transport Passengers from Yemen to Somalia or Djibouti in Connection with Iom Project, Provision of Assistance for Vulnerable Migrants.

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is an intergovernmental humanitarian organization established in 1951 and is committed to the principle that humane and orderly migration benefits both migrants and society. In the framework of IOM emergency humanitarian activities, the IOM Bids Evaluation and Award Committee (“BEAC”) now invites Expression of Interest from Ferry transportation service providers for the provision of ferry to transport passengers from Yemen to Somalia or Djibouti in connection with IOM project, Provision of Assistance for Vulnerable Migrants.

The Expression of Interest shall contain information on the following a.) range of relevant consulting services offered, b.) qualification and experience of relevant professionals and technical personnel currently maintained c.) track record and experience of the firm in similar assignment including list of major clients served and d.) other relevant information.

The Expression of Interest shall be submitted in original in a sealed envelope with the company stamp and titled: “RFP NO.: [YE10.P.001]” to Sanaa office, Hadda Post Office area, behind the Turkish Embassy, P.O. Box 16335 Address Or Aden sub-office with office address, UN Enclave, Villa No.33, Abbas Zaki St; Al-Jalaa neighborhood, Khormakser District, Aden or through Email to the office address IOMYemenRequestQuota@iom.int no later than August 29, 2018. 05:00pm Yemen local time.

On the basis of the above information, the BEAC shall draw up the shortlist of Service Providers. Only short listed Service Providers will be invited to submit technical and financial proposals.

Interested Service Providers may obtain further information from the BEAC at email address IOMYemenRequestQuota@iom.int no later than August 25, 2018. 05:00pm Yemen local time.

The BEAC reserves the right to accept or reject any Expression of Interest, and to annul the selection process and reject all Expression at any time, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected Service Providers.
