Description : 1. The United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) invites companies to express their interest and provide requested supporting documents to demonstrate their eligibility to participate in upcoming bidding exercise for the provision of engineering operation and maintenance services together with civil works to UNAMA in Afghanistan. 2. UNAMA require the services of specialized companies to provide; a) Engineering Operation and Maintenance Services (Engineering Services) at its compounds, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. The Engineering Services will be required at the following locations: • Kabul • Jalalabad • Kandahar • Mazar • Gardex • Herat • Bamyan The Engineering Services includes but is not limited to: • Air Conditioning and HVAC • Electrical • Plumbing • Carpentry • Welding/ Metal Works • Painting • Building Maintenance. b) Civil Works on as and when required basis at four locations in Kabul. Civil Works includes but is not limited to alteration, renovation and modification of infrastructure facilities and buildings as periodically required. The Engineering Services and Civil Works will be required for an initial period of two (2) years with an option for extension for a further two (2) years upon successful and satisfactory completion of services. 3.
