Description:
1. The United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus (UNFICYP) intends to conduct a competitive solicitation exercise for the provision of dental services on "as and when required" basis to support its operational requirements. The Contract(s) shall be for an initial period of three years with the UNFICYP's sole option to extend the term of the contract for an additional two (2) periods of one year each (3+1+1). 2. The dental services shall be provided by licensed and qualified dentists in suitably equipped dental practices and shall include but not limited to the following: • Routine examination; • Teeth cleaning; • Root canal; • Tooth fillings; • Crown cementation; • Tooth extractions both simple and surgical; • Specialized treatments e.g. on gingivitis, pericoronitis; • Intraoral/extraoral x-rays Interested entities are requested to complete the information requested under the "Specific Requirements" section below. 3. In this regard, UNFICYP would like to identify entities that would be interested to participate in the competitive solicitation exercise and are requested to express their interest by providing all relevant information using this Vendor Response Form, also available in our website www.unficyp.org. The interest should be sent to the attention of Ms. Stella Kitti, Procurement Assistant, either via fax +357-22-614493 or via email unficyp-procurement@un.org no later than Wednesday, 04 April 2018. 4. The UNFICYP reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding and mere expressing an interest would not automatically warrant participation in the competitive bidding exercise. The UNFICYP reserves the right to change or cancel any of these requirements at any time during the EOI and/or the solicitation process. 5. The UNGM registration is mandatory for responding to this EOI. Interested entities are strongly recommended to submit the required documentation at the United Nations Global Marketplace at www.ungm.org for Level 01 registration.
