PROVISION OF AVIATION SAFETY EQUIPMENT

Description:
The United Nations Support Office in Somalia (UNSOS) has a requirement to enter into a contract for the provision of Aviation Safety Equipment. UNSOS intends to purchase 30 life rafts (calculated on 10 persons capacity basis) and 30 shore based water rescue kits. In case of different capacity per a raft provided, the sufficient number of devices shall be provided to rescue minimum 200 persons + 50% spare stock. The Vendor shall also provide replacement of up to 100% of replacement of above listed rafts and kits during service life in case of any emergencies or provide the replacement of rafts and kits after expiry date on UNSOS request. After initial delivery of required items, UNSOS will sign a Local Systems Contract for additional purchase which will be valid for 3+1+1 year. There will be no minimum order guaranteed on the stand-by agreement, but all the order will be done on when required basis. These requirements will be in accordance with the specifications to be issued during solicitation process to qualified bidders.
