Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) Advanced Propulsor Management Office (NSWCCD Code 808) intends to host an Industry Day on Thursday, 01 May 2025 at NSWCCD in West Bethesda, MD beginning at 10:00AM EST, see Attachment 1 (NSWCCD Base Map). The intent is to allow US Department of Defense (DOD) Contractors an opportunity to discuss design drawings and manufacturing for Propulsor Duct Machining. Design drawings will be available for viewing, but contain Distribution Statement "D" information, as well as Classified drawings not listed as an attachment to this notice. Therefore, to be in accordance with DoD Directive 5230.25 (Withholding of Unclassified Technical Data from Public Disclosure) participants must be a US DoD Contractor with a Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) DD Form 2345 (Military Critical Technical Data Agreement) approved and on file. Please request access to all Classified Drawings through the file recipients listed below.

Contractors eligible to attend shall submit an approved DD Form 2345 and for each contractor personnel submit Attachment 2 (SECNAV 5512/1) as soon as possible but not later than 24 April 2025. Participants must possess a fully adjudicated personnel clearance (PCL) of at least CONFIDENTIAL. Submit a Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) request to SMO Code 001675, cite the reason as "Propulsor Duct Machining", and list the POC identified in Attachment 2 Block 25. Utilize electronic transmittal via encrypted email or the DoD SAFE at https://safe.apps.mil/; to use DoD SAFE, submit a request to the points of contact below and the Government will provide a link to upload documents. Note, Attachment 2 is optional if you have a valid DOD-issued credential (i.e. Common Access Card, Defense Biometric Identification System {DBIDS} card, military/veteran/retiree/military dependent ID)....
