The Chairman, Department Procurement Committee, on behalf of the Vice Chancellor, University of Ruhuna, Wellaniadama, Matara now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified Bidders for the Landscaping Work and Laboratory Renovation Work of the CSL, CER Building Project (Phase II), University of Ruhuna, Wellaniadama, Matara as described below.

1. Bidding* will be Conducted through National Competitive Bidding* Procedure. 2. Bids should be Submitted on the Bidding* Documents Available at the Office of Assistant Registrar (Capital Works), University of Ruhuna, Wellamadama. Matara and can be Purchased from 9.00 a.m. To 2.45 p.m. Until Os**1 March 2024. On Submission of the Receipt for a Non-Refundable Tender Tec Paid to the Shroff of the University. 3. Eligible Bidders shall Comply with following Qualification Criteria: Specialty - Building Construction Cida Grade (Former Ictad Grade) - as Per the above Tabic for each Bid 4. The Contract Period (Construction) is 4 Months and 2 Months Tor each Bid from the Start Date (Refer the Table). 5. You may Obtain Further Information, Inspect the Bidding Documents at the Office of Assistant Registrar (Capital Works), University of Ruhuna, Wellaniadama, Matara (041-2033260 / Ext. 12045) 6. Bids shall be Valid up to 05**1 June 2024. 7. Pre-Bid Meeting will be Held at 10.00 Hrs on 27TH February 2024 at Main Boardroom (Old Senate Room), University of Ruhuna, Wcllamadama, Matara. 8. All Bids shall be Accompanied by a “Bid Security” as Per the above Table and Issued to the Vice Chancellor, University of Ruhuna in the Form of a Bank Guarantee Obtained from a Commercial Bank Operating in Sri Lanka and Registered with the Central Bank. Bid Security should be “on Demand” and “Unconditional” and on Format Given in the Bidding Document and Valid until 03rd July 2024. 9. Deadline for Submission of Bids shall be at 14.00 Hrs on 06**1 March 2024. 10. Duly Completed Sealed Bids in Duplicate shall be Sent under Registered Post to Receive on or before above Closing Time to The Chairman, Department Procurement Committee, University of Ruhuna, Wellamadama, Matara or Deposited in the Tender Box No. 01 Placed at the Office of the Registrar, University of Ruhuna, Wellaniadama, Matara on or before above Closing* Time. Late Bids shall be Rejected. Name and the Contract No. Should be Indicated on the Left-Hand Top Corner of the Envelope. 11.
