detailed description
the ontario ministry of transportation requires services remove and replace the deteriorated shingles on the searchmont sand dome and replace the shingles on the searchmont loader shed with steel roof. the work also provides for the replacement of any rotted or deteriorated plywood identified by the contractor and verified by the contract administrator.

the searchmont dome is located at 1150 highway 532, hwy 532 1.0km north of the achigan creek bridge, gaudette twp.

remove and replace shingles
the proposed work is to remove the existing shingles and replace them with 30 year three tap, dual brown shingles using 6 nails per shingle.

remove and replace shingles on loader shed
the proposed work is to remove the existing shingles and replace them with a minimum 26 gauge steel roof. the colour shall be dark brown.

removal and replacement of plywood sheeting
upon removal of the existing shingles the contractor shall inspect and identify the number of plywood sheets that are required to be replaced. the contract administrator will confirm the number of plywood sheets that need to be replaced because of rot or damage.
