This RFB is for the provision of Document Verification Service (DVS), an online, fully automated Software-as-a Service (SaaS) based document verification service. Scope of Work Pursuant to the Specifications set forth in this RFB, the Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement (MPBSDP) is seeking Bids to provide a hosted Document Verification Service (the “Service”) to replace its current support services contract. Through this RFB process, the Ministry intends to establish an Agreement with a Vendor to host and maintain the Service that will deliver useful, high-quality, comprehensive, and accessible document verification services, enabling the citizens of Ontario to verify their government issued identity documents remotely, at any time, from a convenient location. The DVS is used as a common service that Ministry Program Areas from across the Ontario Government can integrate into their application(s) to remotely verify a user-s identity documents (e.g., Ontario Driver-s License/Photo Card, Ontario Health Card) The DVS will meet present and future program delivery needs while enabling inclusive customer options.
