Request for Bids for short burst data (SBD) services for Iridium Global Positioning System (GPS) wildlife collars for data obtained from Boreal Caribou monitoring from January 2025 through to March 2027. Scope of Work As part of the Boreal Caribou Monitoring Program, Iridium GPS monitoring collars will be affixed to adult female caribou in northern Ontario. After the collars have been affixed, there will be a need for airtime plans to collect SBD and transmit information to the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks. These services will be required during the following time periods: February 2025 to March 2027: Data subscription services for up to 145 collars February 2026 to March 2027: Data subscription services for up to an additional 145 collars (if required and at the Ministry-s discretion) February 2027 to March 2027: Data subscription services for up to an additional 80 collars (if required and at the Ministry-s discretion)
