Tender Details

The Ministry of Transportation requires a Vendor to provide customized Heavy Equipment Operator training and curriculum materials. This training shall focus on the safe use of common heavy equipment found in an airport environment and is required to meet regulatory requirements and ensure staff safety while executing operational tasks at the Remote Northern Airports. Training shall occur at the MTO-operated twenty-nine (29) Remote Northern Airports in Ontario. Scope of Work The Vendor shall deliver Heavy Equipment Operator Training at twenty-nine (29) Remote Northern Airport locations. Training shall consist of the materials necessary for all heavy equipment Tractor, Loader, and Backhoe, along with customized training about the safe operation of the following heavy equipment: a) Motor grader with a particular focus on blade changing and care while working alone; b) Loader with snowblower attachments; c) Snowblower; d) Tandem dump with: • Plow attachments • Drag bar attachments • Wobbly wheel packer attachment • Sweeper attachments theory e) Vibration packer
