Description : The Ministry of Education is requesting submissions to provide Speech Language Pathology services for the following Demonstration Schools: 1. Trillium Demonstration School, Milton ON. 2. Sagonaska Demonstration School, Belleville ON. 3. Amethyst Demonstration School, London ON. Scope of Work The Speech Language Pathologist will be required to: • Work independently as well as be part of an inter-disciplinary team providing services to school-age children between the ages of six (6) and twenty one (21) years old. Depending on the age of the child, the Speech Language Pathologist will be expected to work on a one-to-one basis, within the classroom setting, or with groups of two or three children with similar conditions/disabilities • Provide speech language pathology services for the school year (September to June), working one (1) day per week from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at each school. A total of three (3) days a week. Services shall include an initial assessment, consultation, report writing, remedial plan and intervention to best respond to students needs. • Meet with teachers and parents to instruct on ideal practices to be adopted in the classroom in support of the interventions.
