Notice of Proposed Procurement (NPP): project: tender_11945 - min-0086 supply and delivery of sportswear
the objective of this rfb is to invite prospective vendors to submit bids for the provision of the following eight (8) sportswear garment categories for use in various ministry of children, community and social services (mccss) and ministry of the solicitor general (including, but not limited to, correctional services, ontario provincial police, ontario fire marshall, and ontario police college) facilities throughout the province of ontario on an as-and-when required basis, as well as potentially other province of ontario police services.
scope of work
sportswear garments are required in the following eight (8) sportswear garment categories :
category 1 : sport shirts (moisture wicking golf shirts and henley shirts)
category 2 : performance shirts (long and short sleeve)
category 3 : sweatshirts (full-zip micro fleece jacket and hooded sweatshirt)
category 4 : zip-off cargo pants unisexe
category 5 : warm up garments (jackets, pants and shorts)
category 6 : ball caps (constructed contour and traditional)
category 7 - sun hat (bucket design)
category 8 toques
vendors may submit bids for one (1), more than one (1) or all the eight (8) of the above-noted categories.
the preferred bidder(s) shall be required to enter into separate agreements with each (i) the ministry of the solicitor general and (ii) mccss, for the provision of the deliverables in attachment # 2 - form of agreement to this rfb. any rights or obligations of the ministry that are set out in the rfb are, in the case of the agreement, rights or obligations of each of the ministry of the solicitor general and mccss under their respective agreement with the vendor.
vendors must bid on all garments items within a category to be considered for an award for that category. vendors that submit bids that do not include bids on all garments items within a category may be disqualified. in the event that no bidder provides acceptable samples for all garment items within a given category the ministry reserves the right to evaluate the items within that category on an individual basis.
each garment category will be evaluated and awarded separately in accordance with the evaluation process outlined in the qualification envelope.
bidders must ensure they complete the appropriate corresponding commercial envelope for the garment category or categories for which they are submitting a bid.
all amendments to the associated notice, including amended documents, plans and specifications (where applicable), are issued by the originator of the notice. merx asks you to contact the buying agency directly for these amendments. merx stipulates that potential bidders may also be required to register with the buying authority as a bidder/plan taker. the contact information can be found within the main tender document and/or on this notice abstract.
