In the municipality of Gaevle, approx. 6, 000 employees work in various areas, it is therefore important that the project methodologycan be adapted based on the needs, maturity and competence level of businesses.

There are businesses that use existing methodology (XLPM) and businesses that have not started using the methodology.

Gaevle Municipal Group needs support from en unified project methodology for managing, operating, coordinating projects, programs, assignments and portfolios. Currently, the municipal group uses XLPM for the need for project methodology and project-related training.

The aim of the project methodology is to be able to be used throughout the entire municipal group.In the municipality of Gaevle, approx. 6, 000 employees work in various areas, it is therefore important that the project methodology can be adapted based on the maturity of the needs and level of competence of the business. There are businesses that do use existing methodology, but there are also businesses that have not started using the methodology at allken and businesses will naturally not use the project methodology.

In order for the project methodology to work, ongoing training is required which will provide in-depth competence for all roles in assignments, projects, programs and portfolios.
