Tender Details

The former Ougree hospital is a building dating from 1890 which was acquired and transformed into offices by the Arcelor-Mittal building management company. The City of Seraing acquired it in turn around ten years ago with a view to rehabilitation. A study of renovation and rehabilitation of the buildingIt had been carried out by the Architectes Associes office but the building has been vandalized in the meantime and renovation is no longer possible. The plans are available and can be adapted depending on the overall demolition of the building. The demolition project for the so-called "former hospital" building'Ougree' is a project partially subsidized by the SPW Territory, housing, heritage and energy as part of the Site to be redeveloped SAR/LG 260 known as "Parc Trasenster". The purpose of this works contract is the complete demolition of the building constructed in three wings - see attached plans. Ssituation: rue Gustave Trasenster n 21 at 4102 SERAING (Ougree) Cadastre: section B, n 347 K2 It is specified that the Trasenster/Nicolay d'Ougree district is under general restructuring. Indeed, various major projects have seen the light of day, namely: - the former Central Workshops of Cockerill whichhave been rehabilitated into a shared parking lot with 650 spaces (European project) linked to the Ougree station; - the construction of a footbridge linking the Trasenster park and the shared parking lot of the Central Workshops (European project); - the O.M. concert hall, recently inaugurated; - the realdevelopment of the urban boulevard linking the Place des Hauts fourneaux district to the Seraing center districts via the shared parking of the Ateliers centrales (European project via the SPW). And for current projects: - the renovation of the Phalanstere by the Autonomous Municipal Authority, currentlyincluding the study of demolition and reconstruction of the buildings located from NO77 to 89 rue Ferdinand Nicolay and the development of a place under the footbridge; - the energy renovation of Ougree Town Hall and its rehabilitation; -The Kot project and restoration of Trasenster Castlewhich are taken up on the same site as the building to be demolished. This entire district is changing and it is within this framework that the City of Seraing wishes to continue its sanitation. The future destination of the site after demolition is not yet defined but it should be linked toec the Trasenster park in which the building to be demolished is located. Estimated demolition work: €850, 000 VAT included. The completion time for the work is estimated at 200 working days.
