Program for meal management and commercial kitchen operations
Gjesdal municipality is to acquire a new program for meal handling and commercial kitchen operations in connection with the establishment of a new health center with a central kitchen. The kitchen is to be organized as a production kitchen with primary responsibility for production and distribution of dinners for institutions, day care centres, homestays, canteens/cafes, voluntary organizations and possibly kindergartens in the municipality. The production volume will be approx. 150 200 midday meals per day, but the volume may vary in line with the number of institutional places, the number of home residents who receive food, as well as deliveries to day centres, cafes and nurseries. There will also be higher production in connection with public holidays and holiday closures. There is a need for a user-friendly and holistic solution that supports the entire kitchen's workflow. This includes ordering, production, packaging, delivery and follow-up. All must function efficiently and be traceable. The solution will contribute to quality in food deliveries, reduced food waste, good handling of diets and allergens, and efficient use of resources at all stages. Detailed description in appendix 1. The agreement is an ongoing service agreement.
