BRIEF BACKGROUND OF THE CONSULTING The National Commission for the Development of Non-Formal Alternative Education (CONEANFO) promotes mechanisms aimed at the recognition, evaluation and certification of competencies acquired through training processes and work experience or practice, contributing to the formal validation of learning developed outside traditional education systems. In this context, Catholic Relief Services (CRS) implements the Water and Soil for Agriculture II (ASA II) project, as part of its regional Agriculture, Soil and Water (ASA) approach, whose purpose is to promote the restoration of degraded lands and promote sustainable agricultural practices that contribute to the conservation of natural resources, the increase of productivity and improvement of the livelihoods of small producers in Central America.
