The Town of Bridgewater (Town) is soliciting proposals from professional firms to conduct both a condition assessment and a function assessment of the Town Hall located at 60 Pleasant Street, Bridgewater, NS. The report is to be submitted in two parts and is to consider efficiency, accessibility and compliance with regulations. • The condition assessment is to evaluate the current physical condition of Town Hall, including a complete life cycle assessment of all the building components to build a model to be used to schedule and predict costs for future budget projections. • The function assessment is to evaluate the suitability for operation, space requirements, function and performance for those that occupy Town Hall both currently and long term to be used to develop recommendations and budget estimates to optimize the use of the existing building, renovations, expansions and or replacement.
