The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region-s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Proposal. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Bids must be submitted and received by the Region no later than 1:00:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The Region is seeking a consultant to provide professional forestry services to support implementation of the Region-s forestry programs, including but not limited to management of the York Regional Forest (YRF), management of street trees, implementation of the Regional Greening Strategy and Green Infrastructure Asset Management Plan.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENT:
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATES: It is a mandatory requirement of this RFP that Proponents confirm their staff have the following Licenses and Certificates. Any proposals received from proponents who do not have these Licenses and Certificates shall be rejected from further consideration. Required Licenses : Registered Professional Foresters in good standing with the Ontario Professional Foresters AssociationRequired Certificates: Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry Level 1 Certified Tree Markers and International Society of Arboriculture Certified ArboristsMEETING: For details regarding the information meeting, refer to the “Meeting Details” section below.
