Tender Details

The aim of the procurement is to support and improve the recycling know-how of plastics, radiators and bio-waste of consumers belonging to special groups. Collaborators in the development of the concept are actors from the City of Helsinki's rehabilitative work activities and Disability Services' work activities units, as well aside's customers (later the city of Helsinki). The goal is to produce materials that are specifically targeted to the needs of these customers.

The call for tender is related to the TREASoURcE project funded by the European Union, which aims to support the development of local and regional circular economy solutionsimplementation (https://treasource.eu/)

PROCUREMENT OBJECT

The procurement concerns the design and implementation of teaching material aimed at strengthening recycling skills. With the help of the material, we want to teach the basics of recycling and their application as an everyday civic skill in rehabilitative work activities andfor the customers of the work activities of mmaist services. The city of Helsinki's goal is to increase the household recycling rate to 60 percent by 2025 and to reduce the amount of mixed waste. Increasing the sorting of biowaste is of central importance to achieving the goal.
