The project PRODIGEE - Project Development of Integrated Energy Efficiency Renovations has joined the ELENA Mechanism under contract number ELENA-2020-173. The ELENA Mechanism (European Local Energy Assistance) is implemented by the European Investment Bank (ETEp), while it is financed by the European Commission in the framework of the Horizon 2020 program and aims to support local / regional and national public authorities to accelerate their investment plans in the energy sectors efficiency and renewable energy, in order to contribute to the EU's 20-20-20 initiative. The approved PRODIGEE project includes three (3) sub-project categories as follows: 1. Upgrading the energy efficiency of street lighting. 2. Upgrade energy efficiency of public buildings. 3. Installation of RES systems (Photovoltaic systems) on the built environment, in order to carry out energy and virtual energy offsetting. This announced project concerns Categories 2 and 3. The object of the contract is the provision of maturation services for the Energy Upgrade of Public Buildings within the framework of the PRODIGEE - Project Development of Integrated Energy Efficiency Renovations project which has been joined and co-financed by ELENA Mechanism (EU-EIB).
