"PURPOSE OF USE:
x-ray meter that measures the dose and dose rate of an x-ray beam. This unit measures in mRads and micro Greys. This unit has an optional remote sensor that can be placed in a phantom to interpolate an accurate radiation dose from within a patient.
Beam Alignment Test Tool-Improper central ray alignment will distort a radiographic image. When used with the Collimator Test Tool, this device provides a simple means of determining if the x-ray beam is perpendicular to the image receptor and centered with respect to the light field.
Contrast resolution is commonly determined at a specified kVp by imaging a test object comprised of targets where contrast decreases gradually and sequentially."
