Procurement of video conferencing licenses to provide distance education services to the school community The object of the contract is the supply of 200, 000 video conference licenses in order to meet the needs of the Ministry of Education, Religion and Sports of distance education for teachers and students of public Primary and Secondary education units throughout the country. [par. 1.3 & APPENDIX I of the Declaration] The object of the project is the supply of 200, 000 video conference licenses of which a necessary condition is the ability to simultaneously connect 35, 000 video conference licenses. The specific technical characteristics of the service will be at least the following: • Ability to operate on personal desktop and laptop computers as well as on smart phones (smartphones). •Hosting in cloud computing infrastructures (Cloud) and utilizing Web technologies, without the need to install central infrastructures. • Possibility of choosing to use an image (video) or exclusively audio. •High supply definition (High Definition) image and sound. •Support individual and group video conferencing without the requirement of a centralized video conferencing management system (MCU). • Real-time content sharing (screen, applications, files, browser) and multimedia. • Ability to transfer files between participants.
