The procurement includes the execution of traffic on a new 8 km long subway line between Alvsjoe and Fridhemsplan as well as operation and maintenance of the various subsystems of the traffic system. Traffic will tentatively start in 2034. The assignment will include liability for traffic and operation of the traffic system for a period of time in about 5 years and a longer maintenance commitment of about 20 years.
The traffic system includes preliminary traffic control systems including signal systems, vehicles, track systems, platform barriers, electric power systems, communication systems and CCTV.
