OFG must enter into framework agreements for deliveries to the School Fruit Scheme for the period 1. July 2024 30. June 2026. The school fruit scheme is mentioned in the State Budget, and anchored in regulations of 1. April 2004 no. 623 on subsidies for price reductions of fruit and vegetables in primary schools (Appendix 1). The purposewith the scheme is to stimulate an increased consumption of fruit and vegetables among pupils in primary school. School fruit is also a tool for fulfilling parts of the authorities' National academic guidelines for food and meals in schools, and should contribute to good eating habits, well-being in everyday school life and better health, among other thingsnt children and young people. In this competition, the school fruit scheme is divided into the "Subscription scheme with parental payment" ("Subscription scheme") and the "Municipal scheme", see the competition basis for further information. In this competition, the school fruit scheme is divided into the "Subscription scheme with parentsrepayment" (the "Subscription scheme") and the "Municipality scheme", cf. below. The suppliers must deliver ready-to-eat, first-class fruit and vegetables to primary schools that will receive School Fruit. The suppliers must be able to deliver fruit/vegetables within category 1 to the Subscription scheme with parental payment and bade category 1 and 2 to the Municipal Ordinance. In addition, fruit/vegetables can be delivered within category 3 of the Municipal scheme. The framework agreements apply to the country's 15 counties where each county is divided into two delivery areas, one primary and one secondary area.
