The Mandeville Town Centre Traffic Management project includes the implementation of a new one-way traffic system along Caledonia Road, as well as civil works along sections of Caledonia Road. Works were also undertaken at the following key intersections: Villa Road/Main Street, North Race Course Road/Main Street, and North Race Course Road/Caledonia Road, to facilitate improved vehicular flow and enhance pedestrian movement. In addition, the project includes the installation of traffic signs, road markings, and the upgrading and/or installation of new traffic signals. The Procurement of Mandeville Town Centre Traffic Management Plan (Phase 2) focuses on civil works in that demolition and site clearance, earthworks, pavement and ancillary road work along Manchester Road, Park Crescent, Perth Road and Main Street. It aims to manage existing traffic capacity, reduce congestion and vehicular travel time and improve mobility and overall safety of motorists and pedestrians in Mandeville Town Centre, Manchester. The contract duration is 6 months. To be considered eligible, bidders must submit the following with their bids: • A valid Tax Compliance Certificate/Letter (TCC); • A valid Public Procurement Commission (PPC) (formerly, NCC) Certificate of Registration as a Public Sector Grades 1-4 Contractor in the category of Civil Engineering or General Road Works, Grade 1 Failure to submit the documents listed above shall result in the rejection of the bid.
