Description : Invitation to Bid for the Procurement
of RICE SUPPLIES
1.The Barangay Astorga of Sta.Cruz, Davao del Sur, through the 5% Calamity Fund of the Barangay Local Government Unit intends to apply the sum of Two Hundred Thousand Pesos (Php.200, 000.00) Pesos being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for Procurement of Rice Supplies. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening.
2. The Barangay Government Unit of Astorga now invites bids for Procurement of Rice Supplies. Delivery of the Goods is required within 7-15 days from receipt of Purchase Order/Notice to Proceed. Bidders should have completed, within the Days from the date of submission and receipt of bids, a contract similar to the Project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II. Instructions to Bidders.
3. Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using a non-discretionary “pass/fail” criterion as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act (RA) 9184, otherwise known as the “Government Procurement Reform Act”.
