SBB AG is replacing its fan car for the Simplon Tunnel, which forms a ventilation unit together with the energy car, under the project name “Meroppo”. For this purpose, the SBB is providing a 4-axle flat car and the fan from which the new one is made Fan carriage including sealing to the tunnel profile must be created. The new fan cart must work together with the existing energy cart (max. output 500 kW).
