Tender Details

Salo city's transport services (hereafter the customer / procurement entity) requests bids for the city's public transport operation in accordance with this request for bids and its appendices. The procurement of public transport includes the city's public transport as a whole. The procurement requirements and more specific public transport routes are described in the request for tenders and its appendices. The procurement concerns operation on the public transport network during the contract periods of 2027-2032. The service of the destination begins 7 June 2027 and ends at the end of the spring semester 2032 (approx. 5 June 2032). The acquisition includes both options (2) for extending the contract period and separate options for extending the service to Saturday and/or Sunday. Regarding the length of the contract period, procurement has option option for one option of a maximum of three (3) years and one of a maximum of two (2) years, i.e. for a maximum of five (5) years in total. The subscriber decides on the use and duration of the options separately. The decision of the city council (March 2, 2026 According to § 17), the scope of traffic at the beginning of the contract period is from Monday to Friday. In addition to extending the contract period, the acquisition also includes separate options for extending the service to Saturday and Sunday traffic.
