The National Fisheries Authority (NFA) is responsible for supporting the sustainable development and management of Jamaica's fisheries sector and provides a range of services to fisherfolk and other stakeholders throughout Jamaica. As part of its commercial services mandate, the NFA operates designated fuel sub-stations to facilitate access to fuel required for fishing operations. The Authority currently provides fuel services through selected locations and intends to strengthen and modernise this service through the introduction of additional fuel options and improved fuel-dispensing infrastructure.
