Expression of Interest are invited for Procurement Practices in Climate Finance.
NOTES
Following this invitation for EOI, a shortlist of qualified firms will be formally invited to submit proposals. Shortlisting and selection will be subject to the availability of funding.
Only those firms which have been shortlisted will be invited to participate in the RFP phase. No notification or debrief will be provided to firms which have not been shortlisted.
Experience in policy development and analysis related to climate change governance, including the ability to assess and recommend improvements to existing frameworks.
Multilateral Cooperation:
Familiarity with multilateral cooperation mechanisms and international organizations involved in climate change governance, such as the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).
Negotiation Skills:
Strong negotiation skills to navigate complex international climate negotiations and contribute to the development of effective and equitable climate policies.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Ability to engage with diverse stakeholders, including governments, NGOs, private sector entities, and civil society, to foster collaboration and consensus-building in climate governance.
Legal Compliance:
Knowledge of international environmental law and climate-related legal frameworks, ensuring compliance with legal obligations and commitments.
Capacity Building:
Skill in designing and implementing capacity-building initiatives to strengthen the governance capacities of countries and organizations in addressing climate change.
Ethical Leadership:
Commitment to ethical leadership and governance practices, promoting transparency, accountability, and inclusivity in climate-related decision-making processes.
Cross-Cultural Competence:
Ability to work effectively in diverse cultural and international contexts, considering the varying governance challenges faced by different regions.
Conflict Resolution:
Proficiency in conflict resolution and mediation skills, as climate change governance often involves addressing conflicting interests and priorities.
