Description : The main function of BFP personnel is firefighting. At the National Fire Training Institute, all recruits shall undergone the Fire Basic Recruit Course rigidly to have the tri-skills required of a firefighter.
It is then very basic that firefighting shall be monitored while having the required personal protective gear on while performing the required firefighting activities. The year-round FBRC training comprised of 3 batches with at least 700 recruits per batch using over and over again the same personal protective gear/s; thus, replacement of worn outs PPG is very essential.
