Procurement of parking enforcement uniforms The parking control of the city of Helsinki is asking for bids on uniforms for parking inspectors. With this call for tenders, bids are requested for approx. 80 parking inspectors intended for professional use uniforms. The uniform must meet the requirements set in the request for tenders and its attachments, the legislation on uniform. Parking inspectors work outdoors in all seasons, so the uniform must be suitable for everyone to weather conditions, for example rain and snow, as well as blazing sunshine. The clothes included in the uniform of parking inspectors and a more detailed description of their characteristics can be found in the request for tenders and its attachments. Selection is made in the tender one contractual partner. The estimated start date of the contract is autumn 2026, and delivery of the first installment is planned for the winter season 2026-2027. The agreement is concluded for a fixed period of 5 years, after which the agreement continues indefinitely. The long-term contract aims to guarantee the permanence and uniformity of the clothing collection used by parking inspectors. The companies participating in the tender must provide the procurement unit with material samples and prototypes of the part about the offered clothes, so that the procurement unit can assess the fulfillment of the requirements of the offered clothes and carry out a quality comparison.
