Other Requirements
91. 1. Installation/Configuration, Commissioning and Testing
A. The new Data Center will be installed in Central Mindanao University main Campus.
B. The provider must ensure that the proposed data center will be compatible with the existing equipment and systems of Central Mindanao University such as personal computers, servers, network equipment, and other devices.
C. Intensive testing should be done by the provider to achieve functionality and benefits of the new data center.
D. Central Mindanao University shall provide the winning bidder with the following:
-c IT Representatives,
-c Work Permits and Access Pass for the winning bidder to implement the job,
-c Provision of temporary area, in which a secured place where the winning bidder can store the delivered materials and tools.
E. The provider must install/setup all components of the Data Center including all necessary accessories.
F. Provide documentation that fully describes configurations of the EMS, Access Control, Fire Suppression System, Grounding System, Data Storage System and providing all necessary information which includes test link result and detailed as-built plan to restore configurations if lost.
92. 2. Training & workshop
The supplier must conduct training/workshop to MIS personnel regarding the datacenter commissioning, familiarization, configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance.
93. 3. The implementation team of the provider must have a license certification

94. 4. Maintenance & Technical Support
1. The supplier shall provide highly certified technical personnel to do service for Data Center equipment and all of its component/peripherals whenever problem should occur.
2. On call support shall be available 8 hours a day, 6 days a week. Onsite support must have a response time of not less than 24 hours from the time of the call in cases wherein the phone support could not solve the problem.
3. On any repair, testing shall be done on-site to know the extent of the problem. All components beyond repair shall be replaced at no cost during the effectivity and conditions of the warranty. Replacement parts should be available for the Data Center equipment and components within a day after testing and diagnosis for temporary replacement of the defective unit.
4. Service exchange units must have the same or higher specifications with the defective unit.
5. The supplier must shoulder all expenses of the technical person(s) who will be providing the technical services on-site within the warranty period.
6. Must have a regional presence, to provide immediate response for the support request.
95. 5. Warranty
1. The data center shall be covered by 1 year workmanship warranty.
2. Bidder should have certificates from the manufacturer or their authorized representative that they are authorized to re-sell, install, service and honor warranties issued by the manufacturer.
3. The supplier shall ensure inventory of all critical parts of the Datacenter
4. The winning bidder will provide 1 year System Warranty Extended Product.
5. The supplier must ensure that CMU shall be provided the following:
-c Parts replacement - FREE for the duration of the warranty period.
-c Preventive Maintenance - FREE at least twice a year for the duration of the warranty period.
