INFORMATION FOR TENDERER

Eligibility of Tenderer : World Bank s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers ( July 2016, Revised November 2017) and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. In addition, please refer to Section III, Clause 3.14 setting forth the World Bank s policy on conflict of interest.Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the office of Director General, CPTU and Project Director, DIMAPPP (e-mail: cptudg@cptu.gov.bd ) and inspect the bidding documents during office hours 0900 AM to 1700 PM (Except Friday & Saturday).Eligibility and Qualifications requirements: (a) If the Bidder is a manufacturer: (i) The bidder must have Annual Turnover of USD 2.0 (two) million or equivalent in any one financial year of last 3 years. The Bidder should have at least USD 2.5 million (USD two and half million) or equivalent amount of liquid asset or working capital or credit facility or their combination. (ii) The Bidder shall have a minimum of 5 years of overall experience in the production of laptop.(iii) The Bidder shall have specific experience of supply of computer of minimum value US$ 2, 000, 000 (US$ two million) in aggregate of not more than three contracts in last 5 years counting backward from the date of publication of RFB but each contract value not be less than US$ 500, 000.(iv) The Goods offered by the Bidder must satisfy the respective specifications mentioned in the Technical Specifications of Section VII Schedule of Requirements.(b) If Bidder is not a manufacturer: If a Bidder is not a manufacturer, but is offering the Goods on behalf of the Manufacturer under Manufacturer`s Authorization Form, the Bidder shall demonstrate the above qualifications (a) (i), (iii) and (iv).Additional details are provided in the Bidding Documents. A margin of preference for goods manufactured domestically "shall" be applied.
