The subject of this procurement procedure is the procurement of the key management system described in the document of the technical-functional requirements 34-25-OP for the user within the project Croatian Quantum Communication Infrastructure-CroQCI.
The key control system is on the management layer keys. The basic functions of the layer are the reach of the keys from the quantum layer, storing the keys to the hardware safety module, and the surrender of the cryptographic keys to the application layer on request.
The subject of procurement is used to implement the key control system that meets the requirements of existing Standards and individual case studies. The aim is to set up a key management system in a way that will allow you to test the various scenarios of reach and storage of keys so that the recommendation can be made that the scenario would be optimal for use.
The key control system consists of Two components: Key management system (KMS) and Hardware Security Module - HSM). KMS has the task of demanding keys from the quantum layer and teach the key to the application, and HSM serves for the keys archive that, with software protection, It also contains hardware protection against unauthorized handling equipment.
