Freeze-dried foods Food all-day portion Other foods The assignment concerns the provision of food with a long shelf life and packaged in a way that enables efficient handling and storage. Requirements for the number of portions per package are adapted to fit different numbers in groups of individuals to be supplied with food. The goal is to be able to offer goods that are packaged in a way that facilitates storage, cooking and offering food during crisis situations or heightened preparedness to Sweden's population. In the freeze-dried food area, products for breakfast and main meals are in demand. The product must be packed in packaging with high durability and which can guarantee the lifespan promised for the product. The meals must consist of several ingredients and be complete, i.e. no other ingredients apart from hot or cold water must be added. The meal must be ready within 20 minutes from the time liquid has been added and have a shelf life of at least 2 hours from the time of the preparation. It refers to one or more packages containing one or more portions of meals to cover the daily requirement. Packaging must cover breakfast, two main meals and 2 snacks. The two main goals should be different meals. For larger packages should more than one option for snacks be included so that the goods will suit more people in the group.
