Description : The scope of the tender is the technical modernisation of the Kreanova dome theatre at Kreativum Science Center. This includes providing and installing a digital planetarium in the existing dome. A economically efficient installation is of utmost importance.
We have around 60 000 visitors each year out of which 12 000 are scheduled visits from schools. One of our biggest assets has been our theatre Kreanova, a tilted dome 11 meters in diameter. Currently it is equipped with an analogue film projector used for film viewing. The technology is outdated and since the beginning of last year, we have only used a regular projector to show presentations from laptops. We are now looking to convert our facility into a digital planetarium combined with the possibility to show other full-dome material and also use the dome for conferences.
