ERZ provides underground containers for waste disposal in the city of Zurich, installs them, maintains them and replaces them. The basis for this is Article 16 of the Ordinance for Waste Management in the City of Zurich (VAZ). In the city of Zurich Only the Zurich model underground container (UFC) is used to dispose of waste from households or companies. Types A to C were previously developed in collaboration with various manufacturers and service departments in the city of Zurich developed and improved up to today's Type D. The construction plans of Type D, as well as all rights for further use, are the property of ERZ and may not be used or passed on to third parties without the prior consent of ERZ.
