The University Hospital of the West Indies invites proposals from suitably qualified consultancy firms to provide post-contract consultancy services for Phase 2 of the UHWI Redevelopment Project. The assignment is divided into two Lots, and firms may bid for either or both. Lot 1, Contract Administration, requires an architect-led team to administer the construction contract and provide architectural, quantity surveying, civil and structural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing services engineering, including certification, valuations, variations, inspections and the final account through to practical completion and the defects liability period. Lot 2, Client Representative, requires continuous on-site supervision together with master scheduling, cost, risk and quality control, coordination of the design interface and the radiation protection requirements for the heavy radiology installations, and commissioning and occupancy support. The engagement is expected to run for approximately three years and three months.
