The City of Helsinki is acquiring classroom teacher's multidisciplinary studies (65 ECTS) for the period between August 1, 2026 and December 31, 2029. The education is carried out as a multi-modal education, whereby the study combines different forms of close and distance education and self-study. The training must be able to be completed alongside the students' work. It must be possible to complete the study package of the classroom teacher's interdisciplinary studies (65 ECTS) in two calendar years. The right to study is valid for three calendar years. The studies are part of the studies providing professional skills for classroom teacher duties according to the decree on university degrees (794/2004, §19). After completing all studies according to the degree regulation the graduates have the professional skills and formal qualification to work as a special class teacher. The contract includes the possibility of a maximum one (1) year option period. The subscriber decides on the use of the option period no later than six (6) months before the end of the actual contract period. Here the validity of the procurement contracts expires on 31.12.2030 at the latest.
