Description : INVITATION TO BID FOR
Procurement of Batteries for Rolling Stocks
1) The Philippine National Railways, through the General Appropriations Act for CY 2026 (Special Provision) intends to apply the sum of Two Million Four Hundred Thirty Thousand Four Hundred Thirty-Six Pesos and 14/100 Centavos (PhP 2, 430, 436.14) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for Procurement of Batteries for Rolling Stocks. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening.
2) The Philippine National Railways now invites bids for Procurement of Batteries for Rolling Stocks Delivery of the Goods shall be in accordance with the delivery schedule under Section VI, Schedule of Requirements. Bidders should have completed, at least ten (10) years from the date of submission and receipt of bids, contracts similar to the Project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II. Instructions to Bidders.
3) Bidding will be conducted through competitive bidding procedures using a non-discretionary “pass/fail” criterion as specified in the IRR of RA No. 12009.
